EZskins win Insomnia 55

EZSkins won Insomnia Gaming Festival 55 this weekend, taking down the fellow Brits of Choke 3-0 in the grand final (16-8 on de_inferno, 16-11 on de_overpass, with a one map advantage).

The previous edition of the Multiplay Insomnia Gaming Festival series saw a Spanish team, x6tence, take the crown and £5,000 at what traditionally had been a domestic tournament for British teams.

Insomnia 55's "ROCCAT CS:GO tournament" brought the title back to the United Kingdom's turf with a grand final that paired Sam "⁠RattlesnK⁠" Gawn & co. of EZSkins.com against Choke.

RattlesnK certainly rattled domestic competition in the i55 final 

In the end however, EZSkins were too hot to handle for Choke and breezed through de_inferno after going up 14-1 on the CT side and ultimately won the map 16-8. The second map of de_overpass was more of a struggle, with EZSkins ultimately triumphing with a 16-11 scoreline.
